COMMITMENT TO THE SOCIO-ECOLOGICAL TRANSITION

Socio-ecological transition is a paradigm shift at every level, a change in behavior, structure and scale. It also refers to a moment. An era during which we transit from a destructive, unjust and alienating world to a fairer, more sustainable and more democratic one. Transition must therefore embrace the struggles and social experimentation that move us forward.

LESPACEMAKER is part of these experiments, which are already attempting to live according to the values that are desirable for our new world. Our vision has affinities with the principles of degrowth. This multidisciplinary workshop was founded on community involvement, the sharing and pooling of resources and knowledge, mutual aid and creativity. Each of these values is at the heart of the site’s DNA and shapes our commitment to the socio-ecological transition.
